Council website in racism fight
A council is launching a new service to help victims of racist harassment or abuse to report incidents.

Barrow Council wants victims or witnesses of racist harassment, abuse or discrimination to report the incidents through their website.

Information will then be used to target resources to overcome problems in certain areas.

"Racism is unacceptable to us and we will do all that we can to challenge it," a council statement said.

The new service does not have to involve making a formal statement or an appearance in court.
