Ramraiders might have stolen car
Detectives are examining an abandoned car to see if it was used by raiders before they rammed a Cumbria bank.

It is believed it is a white Toyota Hilux stolen from Dundraw, but police said they were not yet certain as it had been set on fire.

Police believe the car, found in Maryport, was used by the raiders before they drove a JCB digger into the HSBC bank in King Street, Aspatria.

Cumbria Police said no money was stolen in Friday's raid.

It involved a digger stolen from the nearby village of Arkleby. The JCB has been removed from the bank, which was badly damaged.
