Four tourists from Cumbria were missing and feared dead after a plane crash in a remote area of Africa.
A five-seater Cessna crashed near the Mahale National Park, in Tanzania, shortly after take-off on Sunday.
The Foreign Office confirmed those missing were Alan Williams, his wife Sue, her sister Jill and family friend Debbie Winn.
It said the crash was in such a remote area, it had not been possible to formally identify the victims yet.
The four were heading to Katavi National Park in the plane, piloted by a Canadian who also died.

A Foreign Office spokeswoman said until formal identification had taken place, they were reported as missing.
She said officials from the Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority were travelling to the area and it was hoped they may be formally identified by the end of the week.
On Tuesday, Mark Houldsworth, managing director of Nomad Tanzania, the company operating the tour, said contact with the plane had been lost shortly after it had taken off.
He said: "A search was instigated using four aircraft, and a possible crash site was identified from the air.
"The site is remote and the terrain very rugged making access on foot extremely difficult."
