Wellesbourne Library to close for six months

A Warwickshire library is to close for six months for a refurbishment.

A temporary mobile library service will operate in Wellesbourne, near Stratford-upon-Avon, while the building closes for alteration works.

A county council spokeswoman said a new children's centre will be built, automated book checkouts installed and said the whole site will be refreshed.

She apologised for inconvenience caused by the closure but added the changes would bring benefits for Wellesbourne.

The library closes on 15 May.
