Fire consultation comes to an end

Kenilworth Fire Station
Kenilworth station is one of the stations marked for closure

People have until the end of Tuesday to comment on plans to shut seven fire stations across Warwickshire.

Under the proposals, Warwick, Bidford, Brinklow, Kenilworth, Studley, Fenny Compton and Bedworth stations could close.

Warwickshire Fire Service said it was part of its plans to cope with increasing demand for its resources.

These include dealing with road accidents and flooding. The proposals were first unveiled in September.
