Toddler injured in crash with bus

An 18-month-old boy was injured when a car and a bus collided in Coventry.

The boy had been in the car with his mother when it collided with the bus in Ansty Road shortly before 1300 GMT on Friday.

Paramedics said the car had "significant" damage to its front and the boy suffered a "nasty cut" to his head and had been "clearly distressed".

He was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the bus was treated for shock.
