Police name M40 bridge fall man

A man who fell to his death from a bridge above the M40 in Warwickshire has been named by police as Edward Rippon.

The 31-year-old lived in the Tachbrook Road area of Leamington Spa and fell onto the southbound carriageway at junction 15, near the A46 junction.

He was struck by several cars and died soon after at about 0630 GMT. It caused tailbacks to Henley-in-Arden.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the man by the Longbridge roundabout.
