Seventeen charged following raids

Seventeen people have been charged with drugs offences after early morning raids in Warwickshire.

Thirteen men and four women, aged between 21 and 59, were to appear in court charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs, police said.

A 32-year-old woman was also charged with money laundering and a woman aged 25 was also charged with theft and receiving stolen goods.

A man aged 30 who was held in Tuesday's raids was released without charge.

More than 200 officers raided properties in Nuneaton and Bedworth as part of the force's Operation Laser.
