Woman suffers 'horrific' attack

A woman suffered a serious sexual assault when she was taken into a man's home in Coventry in the early hours.

The incident happened in Trentham Road between midnight and 0300 GMT on 24 October, a spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said.

Det Con Zoe Askew said: "This was a horrific incident where the victim was subjected to a serious sexual assault."

Police want to hear from the taxi driver who dropped off the offender at his address before the attack.

Anyone with information about the incident was urged to contact West Midlands Police.
