Lake woman suffers heart attack

A woman suffered a heart attack after being pulled from a lake in Coventry.

Police sealed off the area around Swanswell Pond early in the afternoon following reports a woman had fallen in the water.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics resuscitated the woman, in her 20s, after she suffered a heart attack.

She was taken to Coventry's University Hospital for treatment. Her condition is not known.

Emergency crews said it was not clear how she came to be in the lake.
