Man dies as car hits M42 barrier

A man died when the vehicle he was driving hit the central reservation on the M42 motorway.

The 54-year-old's MG Rover ZS crashed near junction 3A on Monday morning, Warwickshire Police said.

He was declared dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved and no-one else was injured.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw the crash or saw the car travelling along the M42 before it happened to contact them.
