Coventry band The Specials are about to start working on a second album since they re-formed.

Members of The Specials re-formed to play at Bestival 2008 on the Isle of Wight, which was "mainly the first album", guitarist Roddy Radiation said.

He thought they would start working on a second album in about three weeks.

The band, which will begin a tour in April, are to play in Coventry at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena on 15 May.

Terry Hall, Horace Panter, Lynval Golding, Neville Staple, Roddy Byers (Roddy Radiation) and John Bradbury will be together again when they perform.
