Inquiries held over man's death

Officers are carrying out house to house inquiries over the discovery of a man's body at a house in Coventry.

George Devonish, 30, was found with face and head injuries in Violet Close, Wood End, on 4 December.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.

A police spokesman said he would like anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area on 3 or 4 December, to contact them.
