Man arrested after cyclist's death

Police have arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with a collision which led to the death of a cyclist.

The man, from Rugby, Warwickshire, was taken into custody at Nuneaton Police Station on Friday afternoon.

The cyclist, a 49-year-old man from Rugby, had been riding on Central Park Drive in the town when his bike collided with a vehicle.

He died at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire following the collision.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
