Motorcyclist killed in collision

A motorcyclist died when he was involved in a collision with a car in Warwickshire.

The accident took place as the 37-year-old motorcyclist, from Daventry, Northamptonshire, travelled towards Priors Marston.

He was involved in a collision with a blue BMW which was travelling in the opposite direction, towards Southam.

The BMW driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A six-year-old girl, travelling in the BMW, was injured in the accident and taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
