Concern over missing man and dog

Police with specially trained dogs have been searching for a man missing from home since Saturday.

Wayne Hassall, 37, left his home in Eagle Street, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, during the afternoon to take his dog for a walk.

Neither he or the dog have been seen since. Police have been talking to dog walkers along some of Mr Hassall's favourite routes in a bid to find them.

They would like to speak to anyone who has been in the nearby canal area.

Police would also like to speak to anyone who has been walking or jogging in the Eagle recreation area who may have seen him.

Mr Hassall is white, 5ft 8in and was wearing a dark blue T-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.

His dog, Jamie or JJ, is white with a brown head.
