A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed.

Kevin Wright, from Rugby, died in hospital after being attacked in the town centre. West Midlands Police have arrested a 28-year-old Birmingham man.

Mr Wright's brother Danny 22, and uncle Carl Wright, 30, were also stabbed in the incident in the early hours of Monday and are still in hospital.

Both men are understood to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Family and friends of Kevin Wright have laid flowers at the site of the attack in Regent Street.

One man at the scene said he was "a fun-loving character - he was full of life. He was always laughing and joking."

Police said a post-mortem examination on Mr Wright showed he died from multiple stab wounds.

Warwickshire Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the attack about 0245 BST.

Police said they were particularly keen to hear from anyone going to or from the Celestial night club.

They are also trying to trace the drivers of two white taxis parked in the street as well as any other drivers in the area.
