More Poland flights from airport
A new service linking Coventry Airport to northern Poland is set to take off.

Wizz Air will fly three times a week to Gdansk from the Baginton site. These are in addition to the same number of flights to Katowice, in the south.

The airport faces a legal challenge in July over the building of a new passenger terminal.

But Mike Warton, operations director at the airport, said they hope to attract more carriers and routes despite the legal dispute.

In 2006, the deputy prime minister ruled that the temporary terminal would not have to be knocked down, although Warwick District Council was right to take action because it had been created without planning consent.
