Driveways decision to be delayed
A decision on whether residents in a Coventry estate will have to reinstate their front lawns has been delayed.

Councillors had been due to make a decision on the residents of Daimler Green at Thursday's planning meeting.

The authority had said the estate was a green zone and planning permission had been needed to pave over the front gardens to turn them into drives.

However, officials have now found the rule did not apply to all 35 homes as originally thought.

The decision has now been delayed until the new year.

Officials will investigate who the rules apply to in further detail.

Councillors will also make site visits to each home and inspect the quality of the work.
