Drug detection dog at city estate
Cato
Cato is being funded by a regeneration project
A drug detection dog will be carrying out searches on people and in buildings in an area of Coventry as part of a £25,000 initiative.

18-month-old Cato will work alongside his handler on the Wood End estate over the next three years thanks to funding from a regeneration project.

The New Deal for Communities (NDC) is paying for the springer spaniel.

NDC said it was a "great opportunity" for residents to benefit from an additional level of policing.
