Views sought on post office plans
People are being given six weeks to comment on plans to move Coventry's main post office to a branch of WH Smith.

Across the UK, 70 main town and city post offices are moving into the shops.

Royal Mail has said the moves will help safeguard the futures of the post offices, which could have otherwise faced being closed.

However, staff have said they fear they will lose their jobs and that customers will not receive such a good service.

This summer, postal workers went on strike in Coventry for the fourth time in three weeks to protest at the plans.

Royal Mail leaders have now launched a six-week consultation to let people comment on the proposals.
