Three more charged over M40 death

Three more men have been charged and another man arrested over the death of a biker shot dead on the M40.

Gerry Tobin, 35, of Mottingham, south-east London, was shot as he rode home from a biker festival in August.

Warwickshire Police have now charged three further suspects with conspiracy to murder and they are due to appear in court later.

A 44-year-old Nuneaton man was arrested on Thursday, also on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

The three men due to appear in court are a 44-year-old from Alderman's Green, Coventry, a 45-year-old arrested on a narrow boat moored near Alderman's Green and 52-year-old from Milton Keynes.

Three men have previously been charged with Mr Tobin's murder and another charged with firearms offences and all are currently remanded in custody.

Mr Tobin, who grew up in Canada, died as he rode home from the Bulldog Bash bikers' festival, held at Long Marston airfield, near Stratford-upon-Avon, on Sunday, 12 August.
