Japanese police have admitted they still have no clue as to the whereabouts of a man suspected of killing an English teacher.
It is more than four months since the body of Lindsay Ann Hawker, 22, from Brandon near Coventry, was found on a flat balcony in Ichikawa.
She had been placed in a sand-filled bathtub.
Police have been searching for a suspect, Tatsuya Ichihashi, 28, but he appears to have vanished.
Mr Ichihashi had reportedly asked Miss Hawker for English lessons a week before her death.
He had fled his apartment when police arrived to investigate him, losing his shoes and a rucksack in the chase.
A police officer has said that although they have various information, they still do not have clear clues to his whereabouts.
