Man's body found next to ladder

A man is confirmed dead after being found on the ground by a house he is thought to have been working on.

Paramedics were called to Pytchley Road in Rugby, Warwickshire, on Tuesday afternoon after passers-by spotted him lying beside a ladder.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said when crews arrived the man was not breathing and was confirmed dead.

A number of school children had to be moved away after they passed the scene on their way home.
