Godiva statue stays in Broadgate
Lady Godiva statue in Coventry
Less than 10% wanted to move the Lady Godiva statue
People in Coventry have voted not to move the city's statue of Lady Godiva as part of a redevelopment.

The city council had asked residents in a poll on its website whether they wanted to move it to the planned Ironmonger Square in the city centre.

But of the 3,000 who voted, less than 300 thought the statue should be moved from its current location in Broadgate.

A new piece of art will now be commissioned as part of a 4m revamp of the Burges and Ironmonger Row areas.
