Officers investigating the death of a baby whose body was found by a river have charged a 26-year-old woman with concealing a birth.

Lilly, as she was named by police, was discovered by the River Alne near Stratford in Warwickshire on 11 May last year by a family out walking.

She had suffered a fractured skull and collarbone.

The woman, from Alcester, will appear before magistrates in Stratford on Friday 16 March.
