Couple shaken after gang assault
A couple have suffered cuts to their hands after being assaulted by four men in Bedworth, Warwickshire.

Initially one man approached them shortly after they got off a bus in Smorral Lane on Thursday evening.

He tried to punch the man, but the couple ran off down Bluebell Drive. He caught up with the couple and pushed the male victim into a bush.

Three accomplices then arrived and pushed the woman to the ground, escaping with her handbag.

The first man had dark skin and large build, aged 20-23 years, 6ft to 6ft 2in tall with a black beard.

He wore a dark coloured hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms with a light stripe down both legs.

One of the other men was white, about 6ft tall, slim and wearing a dark hooded top and baseball cap with red in the design.
