Boys injured on stolen motorbike
Two teenagers riding a stolen motorbike without crash helmets have suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car on the outskirts of Coventry.

The 16-year-old boys from the city were on a 900cc Triumph which struck a Vauxhall Astra in Rugby Road, Binley Woods, on Wednesday evening.

One suffered head, lung and pelvic injuries, while the other sustained wrist and leg fractures.

The motorbike was stolen earlier in the day from Wolston, Warwickshire.

The boys were taken to the Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry following the crash, which happened at about 2100 GMT.

The car driver was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Coleshill Road policing unit.
