Man injured in road rage incident

A 38-year-man suffered injuries to his head and an eye when he was punched in a road rage incident.

The victim was in one of two vehicles travelling towards Astley, North Warwickshire, on Saturday evening.

Police said there was an argument between two male drivers near to the Astley crossroads and the victim was hit in the face.

He was taken to hospital and kept in overnight for treatment. A 41-year-old man has been arrested and bailed.
