Memorabilia shop chain job threat
David Beckham celebrates after scoring the only goal during the 2002 World Cup match between England and Argentina
Signed copies of footballers' shirts are one of the shop's main items
A Coventry-based memorabilia firm has gone into administration putting 80 jobs at risk.

Sportizus Ltd, based in Canley, began trading in 1999 and has a £5m turnover. The first shop was in Warwick. Nineteen have opened nationally since.

The stores specialise in sporting mementoes as well as political and celebrity memorabilia. A total of 80 people are employed in the business.

An advert for the sale of the company was put in a national paper last week.

No one from the firm was available for comment.
