Work resumes at mine after death
Daw Mill colliery
This was the second fatal accident at Daw Mill within weeks
A miner who died at a colliery in north Warwickshire has been named.

Paul Hunt, 45, from Swadlincote, Derbyshire, was killed at Daw Mill pit, near Arley. It is believed he was hit by a cart.

It is the second death of a worker in less than two months at the mine, which is the largest in the country.

The mine reopened on Tuesday morning, having closed for 24 hours as a mark of respect. A Health and Safety Executive investigation is under way.

Warwickshire Police said there were no suspicious circumstances to his death.
