A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl in a supermarket toilet.
The girl was attacked on 2 March at the Sainsbury's store on the Shires Retail Park in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
The boy has also been charged with four counts of sexual assault and one of commercial burglary.
He appeared at the town's youth court and was remanded into the care of the local authority in Leamington to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 28 April.
No application for bail was made on behalf of the boy who cannot be named.
Detectives had compiled a list of more than 40 possible suspects following appeals for public help.
Rewards totalling £30,000 have been offered for information leading to a conviction.
