A project designed by three Coventry schoolgirls to tackle anti-social behaviour could be taken up by shopping centres across the country.
The West Orchards complex is piloting the scheme where young people can alert security about crime and other problems by sending texts to the control room.
The Text Zone project was devised by teenagers from Ernesford Grange School.
The scheme is being monitored closely and, if successful, it could be rolled out at 20 other shopping centres.
