Improvements costing about £500,000 are to be made to Coventry's Memorial Park over the next year.
The city council says the project is part of a much larger programme aimed at making almost £3.5m worth of improvements across the city.
A sum of £450,000 has come from the government's Liveability Fund to pay for the park revamp.
People are still being consulted about exactly how the money should be spent to improve the park.
