Bid to enforce pedestrianisation
Automated bollards are coming into operation to stop motorists getting into Nuneaton's pedestrianised area.

The bollards will pop up from the ground when warning pips sound at 1000 BST and go down again at 1600 BST.

Vehicles have not been allowed in the centre for several years but the council has taken action because drivers have ignored the restrictions.

If anyone gets stuck in the area, they would have to call the police to be released but may face a £30 fine.
