A man was mugged in Rugby by two men who threatened him with a syringe, Warwickshire Police say.
The victim was walking along the canal between the Broughton Road car park and the Harvester public house when the robbery happened on Tuesday morning.
The offenders made off with his passport, wallet and mobile telephone.
One man is described as white, stocky and about 5ft 9ins. The second man is said to be black, about 6ft and was wearing a large silver Breitling watch.
They are thought to be aged between 18 and 21.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
