Bus windscreen smashed by brick
Vandals have smashed the windscreen of a bus as it was crossing a railway bridge in north Warwickshire.

The Arriva 118 service was going from Birmingham to Tamworth on Monday when it was damaged at Kingsbury Link.

The windscreen was shattered by a brick, it is believed. The driver and one passenger on the bus were shocked by the incident but not injured.

A group of young people were seen nearby and Warwickshire Police say they are keen to talk to them.

Spokesman for Arriva West Midlands, Keith Myatt, said: "It seems almost unbelievable that anyone could be mindless enough to throw an object at a moving vehicle.

"Arriva places safety at the centre of everything we do and takes any acts of vandalism extremely seriously.

"We always seek to prosecute anyone who takes part in activities that could compromise the safety of our customers or employees.

"We would urge anyone with information about the people involved in such activities to contact the police as a matter of urgency."
