Police patrols have been set up outside a school in Warwickshire to clamp down on motorists parking irresponsibly.
Officers are now present outside Telford Primary School in Lillington, near Leamington, at the beginning and the end of the pupils' day.
Police said lives are being endangered by drivers stopping in marked 'stay clear' areas, mounting pavements and parking in front of drives.
The community beat officer is calling on them to act more sensibly.
She said drivers are arriving at the same time - putting pressure on parking - and is asking people to leave a little earlier to get to the school.
