A Coventry head teacher says the lack of school crossing patrols in the city is putting children in danger.
Patrols should be operating at 147 locations across the city but road safety managers say they are struggling to recruit enough lollipop wardens.
As a result many children are having to cross busy roads on their own without supervision.
Charlie Thorpe, the head teacher of Keresley Grange Primary School, says the situation must be addressed.
