Armed robbers target restaurant
Two masked men, one believed to be armed with a shotgun, have robbed a restaurant as staff were closing.

The balaclava-clad pair raided the Little Chef on the A46 Eastern Bypass at Binley Woods on Monday evening.

Police say one of the men was armed with what is believed to have been a shotgun. They demanded money and an undisclosed amount was handed over.

There were no customers in the restaurant at the time. The offenders are both white and about 6ft tall.

One was wearing a green army-style camouflage jacket and the other had a black jacket with writing on the left chest pocket. Both had black fingerless gloves on.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at about 2015 GMT on Monday, is asked to contact Rugby CID.
