Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to cars parked in six Nuneaton streets after vandals went on a tyre-slashing spree.
Over the past two nights police have received 44 reports of damaged cars.
A Warwickshire police spokesman said the attacks appear to be random with no particular model targeted.
The tyres were slashed between 0300 and 0530 BST and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
On Tuesday there were reports from residents in Riversley Road, Templar Court and Stewart Street and on Wednesday tyres were slashed in Alexandra Street, Edward Street and Norman Avenue.
