Consultation on solar energy farm plans in Cornwall

A company which plans to build a solar energy farm in north Cornwall will consult with local people about the proposals, it has said.

Benbole Energy Farm (BEF) is behind the development on a 15-acre site at St Kew near Wadebridge, which it said would provide power for about 600 homes.

The company said the site was away from local houses and conservation areas.

BEF said it would hold a discussion session in June and construction work could begin by October.
