Man dies after falling from cliffs in Cornwall

A 20-year-old man who fell about 25m (82ft) off a cliff in Cornwall has died in hospital.

The man, who was from the Helston area, suffered multiple injuries when he fell from cliffs at Porthleven in the early hours of Sunday.

A helicopter from RNAS Culdrose and Porthleven coastguard rescue team were called out at about 0200 BST.

The man, who has not been named, was flown to the Royal Cornwall Hospital for treatment but later died.
