Schools in Cornwall share 69m for rebuilding

Six schools in Cornwall are to share £69m for rebuilding projects.

Camborne Science and Community College, Humphry Davy School in Penzance and Poltair School and Enterprise College in St Austell will all benefit.

The Building Schools for the Future programme will also fund work at Kernow Senior School, Pool Business and Enterprise College and Redruth School.

Cornwall Council said it also hoped to receive enough money in the longer-term to transform its 31 secondary schools.
