Motorists are facing hazardous driving conditions in many parts of Cornwall because of snow. Snow and ice are forming on many of the county's roads, causing slippery surfaces for drivers. There are reports of heavy snow at Chiverton Cross, St Day and Scorrier, and an inch (2.5cm) of snow has also fallen in Perranporth. Motorists are being advised by police to drive with caution and to allow extra time for journeys.
