Axe attacker leaves man injured

A man in Cornwall is recovering after suffering head injuries and an arm wound during an axe attack.

Police were called to a property in Camborne at about 0320 GMT after reports that a man had been attacked by someone wielding an axe.

The 37-year-old victim was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.

A 36-year-old man from the same address was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and an axe was seized.
