Home store to take on 95 workers

Almost 100 jobs are being created with the opening of a new store by a home and garden retailer in Cornwall.

The 95 staff will work at the Wilkinson shop in in St Austell's new White River Place shopping centre.

The company said it would open during the centre's first day of trading, due on 29 October.

The £75m centre is part of a major regeneration project for the town centre. It includes 18 retail units and a £3.5m cinema.
