Service for victims of violence

Truro Cathedral
The service will also acknowledge the work of the emergency services

A memorial service has been held in Cornwall for victims of violent crimes.

Families and friends of people who have been killed in violent acts gathered at Truro Cathedral to remember and celebrate their lives.

The evensong service was also a chance for people who were victims of violent crimes to try to find peace of mind.

The work of the emergency services who deal with the aftermath of violent crime was also acknowledged during the service which took place at 1600 BST.
