Man found dead under rail viaduct

The body of an elderly man, thought to be in his 80s, has been found under a railway viaduct in Cornwall.

A member of the public alerted police after making the discovery in Hayle in the early hours.

Detectives have begun an investigation but said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.

The area was temporarily cordoned off following the discovery at 0400 BST, but has since reopened.
