A Cornish man charged with shooting dead his ex-girlfriend's father before trying to kill his former partner and her mother has denied all the charges.

At Truro Crown Court, Jonathan Cock, 23, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Adam Hustler, 40, and the attempted murder of Amanda and Danielle Hustler.

Mr Hustler was shot in September at his home in Porth Kea, near Truro. His wife, Amanda, 41, survived being shot.

Mr Cock, of Newbridge, Penzance, was remanded in custody for trial in July.

Danielle Hustler, 20, was unhurt in the incident.
